Spaghetti Bolognese is an absolutely perfect dish,
which is popular with both children and adults.

2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion
50 g smoked bacon
1 large carrot
2 sticks celery
2 cloves garlic
750 g minced meat, a mixture of beef and pork
200 ml red wine
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
400 ml Bongiovi Dad's Original Sauce
80 g tomato puree
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 bay leaves
Salt, ground pepper
Spaghetti
Grated Parmesan cheese to serve

Heat the oil in a large, wide pan and fry the onions, cut into small cubes. In the meantime, coarsely grate the cleaned carrot, cut the celery and bacon into very small cubes and finely chop the garlic. Add the bacon and vegetables to the onion and fry for at least 5 minutes until the vegetables are lightly browned. Add the minced meat to the casserole, break into small pieces and fry until brown. When they are nicely roasted, pour the wine over them and let it boil again. Add a teaspoon of sugar and tomato puree, stir and fry for a minute. Then add Bongiovi Dad's Original Sauce to the pot, season with salt, pepper, oregano and bay leaves. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer with the lid open for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally. The sauce will thicken and darken. Serve mixed with cooked spaghetti and sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese. "Rock your appetite"
