TO THE RECIPE
Homemade gyros with the fiery Bongiovi Arrabbiata sauce for an intense taste experience.
Total: 1 hour
Quantity: 4 servings
“This is what you need to conquer the stage!”
500 g chicken or pork
5-7 teaspoons gyros seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
200 ml Bongiovi Arrabbiata sauce
Tortilla
For the sauce:
2 cups yogurt (2 x 150 ml)
2 cucumbers
3-4 cloves of garlic
Lemon juice
1-2 teaspoons olive oil
5 g dill
Salt, ground pepper
“This is how it works like a rock star!”
Cut the meat into strips, sprinkle the spice mixture on the gyros and let it rest in the fridge for a few hours. Then we fry the meat in a hot pan with a little oil – with chicken it only takes a few minutes and it’s ready, with pork you need a little more time. Add Bongiovi Arrabbiata sauce and let it simmer briefly. Let's prepare the tzatziki: grate the cucumber, mix with yogurt, pressed garlic, oil and lemon juice, season with salt and spices. Let cool. Finally, all you have to do is put everything together: meat, and homemade chips (if you like them). We wrap everything in a tortilla and add the sauce. Serve with a vegetable salad. "Rock your appetite"
